About...

Opened in 1972, it was known as the Johor Golf Club and is the first golf club in the State of Johor. In 1983 the Royal status was bestowed on the club by HRH, the Sultan of Johor, and the Club's name was changed to "Royal Johor Country Club". In 1991 / 92 the course was upgraded. The greens and the tees were rebuilt using Bermuda grass. More ponds and bunkers were incorporated to make the course more challenging
