In greenhouse it avoid
the tray method of watering entirely and place the containers on
benches or hang them to let water freely drain away. Lowlands
require temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s at night, 80’s and 90’s
during the day.
They are not
tolerant of low temperatures. Highlands Nepenthes do best in the 50’s
and low 60’s at night, 70’s and 80’s during the day. The pitchers have
a lid that keeps the rain out. Passive pitfall traps produces at the
tips of the leaves trap and digest small insects.
