LOCATION
Situated at Tanjung
Kling and fronting the Straits of Malacca, the resort
is just 9km away from the historical town of Malacca, where you can
explore 600 years of history embedded in various styles of architecture
or hunt for antiques. Malacca, founded in 1400, became the the greatest
trading port in the region, attracting Chinese emperors, Thais, and even
European powers of the era. To this day, there are many Chinese
ancestral houses in narrow streets, now converted to museums and
restaurants. The descendants from Portuguese rule live in a small
Portuguese settlement, adding to Malacca's rich cultural heritage.
