Upon arrival
Kuala Lumpur, you will be transferred to our carefully selected hotel. This
vibrant capital city forms a modern backdrop of lustrous skyscrapers. In the
afternoon, you will be fascinated by the garden city image of Kuala Lumpur
during the city tour. We will spend the afternoon driving pass Chinatown and
House of Parliament, with stops at National Monument, King's Palace, National
Mosque, Independent Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building. In the evening,
dinner will be at Sri Melayu Restaurant, famous for its authentic local buffet
with colourful cultural performance on stage. After dinner, the evening is
left free for relaxation after the long international flight.

Day 02

Malacca

|
We will spend
the day exploring the neighbouring historical city of Malacca. We will visit
St Peter's Church (1710) the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia,
"Red Square" - the salmon pink Dutch administration buildings and
Portugese settlement. We will enjoy a sumptuous "Nyonya & Baba"
food for lunch (on own account). After lunch, we will visit the harmony
street, where the oldest Chinese temple, Cheng Hon Teng Temple is located. A
Muslim mosque and Indian temple can also be found on the same street. Take a
stroll along Malacca's antique street which ends by the banks of the Malacca
River before departure

Day 03

Cherating

Breakfast at
hotel. This morning you will depart early to travel 270km east of Kuala Lumpur
(approx. 5 hours) to Kuantan - the capital of the largest state of Peninsular
Malaysia. It is rapidly becoming a seaside resort of international repute.
Kuantan offers clean, beautiful and sandy beaches. In Cherating, you will see
pandan leaves being weaved into bags and mats. You can also watch monkeys
plucking coconuts.

Kuala

Breakfast
at hotel. In the morning, we will depart Cherating and head to the
north. Along the way, you will see Malay villages built in kampong
style. A scenic drive along the coastal road will bring you to the
state of Terengganu. Then go for a short visit to the fishing
villages at Marang. Marang welcomes her visitors with tall swaying
coconut trees, cool fresh air, an incredibly beautiful lagoon and a
fleet of fishing trawlers. Visit Tengku Tengah Zaharad Mosque
(Floating Mosque) and the Terengganu State Museum before checking in
to your hotel along the brilliant South China Sea in Kuala
Terengganu

Kota
Bahru

After
breakfast, depart northwards to the state of Kelantan. Kelantan has
had many influences during the 16th & 18th Century but still it
managed to preserve its original traditions and culture which earned
them the title "Cradle of Malay Civilisation". Kota Bahru
is the capital of the state of Kelantan. It is also the place to see
kite-flying contest, admire traditional wood carvings, photograph
the colourful market place and marvel at the skills of songket
weavers.

Penang

Breakfast
at hotel. After the marvelous stay at Kota Bahru, we will continue
our journey to the north-western coast on to 'The Pearl of the
Orient' - Penang island. Starting off early today, you cross the
Malay Peninsula from the east coast to the west coast, passing
through three states, to a contrasting lifestyle. En route you will
enjoy a picturesque scenery of Malaysia's tropical jungles. Upon
arriving at Butterworth, you will cross the Penang Bridge (spanning
13.5km - the longest bridge in Asia and the third in the World) onto
the island of Penang.

Breakfast
at hotel. Today, you explore Penang - the Pearl of the Orient. The
tour begins with a half day visit to the Thai temple of Wat
Chayamangkalaram which houses a 32 metres reclining Buddha, and the
Burmese temple Dharmmikarama. Then, on to Fort Cornwallis where the
founder of Penang first landed. Next, visit the early Chinese
settlement where houses are built on stilts along the busy harbour
front. Take a short drive through historical Georgetown to the
Majestic Cheah Kongsi, a clan house with its ancient design
constructed to capture the splendour of an Imperial Palace. The rest
of the afternoon is left for you to enjoy the beach and sun until
your time to be transferred to the airport for departure flight
