Malaysia's
most internationally-acclaimed resort is located on the
privately-owned island of Pangkor Laut, one of Malaysia's few
remaining unspoiled islands. Nestled amidst the exotic surroundings of
the Malaccan Straits, Pangkor Laut began as a resort offering a range
of 90 rustic beach chalets.
Today, the
resort encompasses 3 bays, each with its own unique character : Royal
Bay, Coral
Bay, and Emerald
Bay.
Spread
over 2 of the bays, a total of 174 Malaysian-style luxury villas have
been painstakingly created to blend in with and complement the natural
environment. And whether you choose to stay over the water, at the
beach, or on the densely wooded hillside, all rooms and suites are
spacious, elegant and absolutely relaxing.
In total,
there are 7 food and entertainment facilities, a fully-equipped
gymnasium, a massage therapy centre, squash and tennis courts, as well
as a range of water activities available. One particularly fascinating
activity is the jungle trekking, taking visitors into the island's
interior, with its 2-million year old rainforest.
With its
breathtaking allure and unparalleled service, Pangkor Laut Resort's
concept of 'one island, one resort' consistently ranks high on the
itinerary of international pleasure seekers.

deluxe open roofed bathroom, and fully functional kitchenette. |
Spa Villas (21)
Similar to the Sea Villas, these are bungalows built on stilts
over the sea, within easy reach of Pangkor Laut's newest addition,
the Spa Village. Here the traditional massage and bath therapies
of Asia are practiced in private pavilions, healing huts, and
treatment rooms. Ancient healing arts are fundamental to all
treatments in the Village, and are intended to soothe and refresh,
