Pick up time: 0800 hrs

Pick-up time at 0800 hours from hotel and proceed for the journey to Lemanak by air-conditioned coach, which takes about 4 hours drive from Kuching (255km). On the way, stop at Serian and have the opportunity to visit "Jungle Produce Market" and see various jungle vegetables, fruits and spices. Continue the journey passing by padi fields, pepper gardens, oil palm plantations and an evergreen sprawling countryside scene. Have lunch at Lachau. Then proceed for another 1 ½ hours, and upon reaching the jetty a longboat awaits you. The boat ride to the longhouse takes about one hour. Experience the tranquility of Lemanak River amidst cool tropical rainforest deep in the very heart of Borneo. Upon reaching the long house you will be accorded a warm chanting welcome - "O Ha! O Ha! O Ha!" by the tribe’s chief with a toast of "tuak" (brewed rice wine), then entertain with traditional dance. Be ready to try your skill to perform the "ngajat (dance)" . After the tour take the boat rides to the jetty then proceed back to Kuching.
