The famous first beach resort in
Kelantan Darul Naim is located on the shore of South China Sea. The
beach, popularly known as the Beach Of Passionate Love is fringed with
coconut palms and casuarinas trees. Nestled among them are the chalets
which feature local and modern architecture. Time seems to stand
still. The cool sea breeze and the gentle sound of sea waves splashing
on the shores' transports one deep into a sense of tranquility.
To get to Resort Pantai Cahaya Bulan
from Kota Bharu, the capital of Kelantan, (11 km) the road meanders
through out many quaint villages dotted with fascinating cottage
industries. These industries churn out hand printed batik, kain
songket, kites and silver craft! The weather is sunny throughout the
year except during the months of November and December when it changes
to wet and cool.
