Island Resort is located in the south west side of Pulau
Perhentian Besar (Big Island), an untouched part of the island
surrounded by tropical jungle, on a broad expanse of powdery
white beach. The resort commands a breath-taking view of Pulau
Perhentian Kecil (Small Island) and the South China Sea right
at your doorsteps. Even at low tide, the view from our
resort is still breath taking! The ambiance here is one of
peace and relaxation ideally geared towards holiday makers.
The Resort
is an exquisite design of 44 timber based, tastefully
appointed rooms, structured to blend with the overall tropical
environment. All rooms are just a 2 minute walk from the
beachfront, bright but with internal soft lighting, modern
bathroom with hot & cold water shower. All rooms have ceiling
fans and are air-conditioned with your own private verandah
commanding an eye-catching view of nature at its best. Listen
to birds chirping, crickets and other exotic insect life
creating delightful melodies while you are deep into your
book.
Deluxe
rooms comes with a choice of either twin or kingsize beds.
Some rooms are interconnected which will be suitable for a
family - giving much needed privacy for the parents.
Rooms
are available either on accommodation & breakfast or fullboard
packages (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Fullboard meals will
comprise either set local meals or BBQ .
Laundry service is available daily.
Not far
down the beach from our Resort is a beautiful and uninhabited
bay called Pasir Jong, which offers complete privacy
for sunbathing or just relaxing on the beach.
For a more thorough sight-seeing island tour of Pulau
Perhentian Besar, our experienced guide can bring you
around the island for a panoramic view of the entire island.
Adventure-seekers and nature lovers will be able to experience
first hand, wildlife, rock climbing, stream crossing, animal
watching amongst others. Bird-watchers will be able to observe
closely species of birds found only in this part of the island

The ala' carte restaurant , Tuna
Café and Restaurant, serves a mouth-watering spread of local
and western cuisine with fresh seafood barbeque available. The
restaurant is situated right on the beach front complete with
a sundeck and a souvenir shop. Waking up to the sounds of
jungle life and the soft lull of sea waves, breakfast starts
from 7.30 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. Enjoy your lunch and dinner at the
restaurant while being serenaded by soft background music or
the traditional bamboo wind chime. The restaurant opens from
7.30 a.m. till 10.30 p.m. every evening and enjoys a day long
breeze from the wide expanse of the south china sea.
Our Dive Center offers a range of
leisure dive activities and dive courses conducted by warm and
friendly professionals. For non-divers, experience "Discover
Scuba Diving" before taking on an open water dive course and
enjoy the underwater world of Pulau Perhentian Besar.
Perhentian Islands are but one of two most popular underwater
sanctuaries for divers, with Batu Layar, Tokong Laut , Tanjung
Lang and Tanjung Tokong being some of the most visited sites
in this area.
For non-divers,
snorkelling in front of our Resort or to other
snorkelling sites by boat is possible while day trips to Pulau
Redang is available upon request. Water taxis are available to
bring you to other beaches at very reasonable rates. Snorkelling
in the marine park is safe for both young and old. Children as
well as adults are certain to have a great time swimming among
the wonders of marine life, not to forget gliding along with the
turtles as well.
Deep sea
fishing is possible outside of the boundaries of the marine
park. Imagine fighting with a 2 pound fish, whirling your rod as
hard as you can to reel in your pride and joy.
At the end of
an exciting day, pitch your serving and smashing skills amongst
our local lads or amongst your own friends in a fun-filled game
of Beach Volleyball.
Our Souvenir
Shop carries toiletries, snacks, ice cream, films, batteries,
batik beach wear and other much needed items. Here you can rent
masks, snorkels and fins, baby floats and life jackets. We also
have a small book library here for your reading pleasure with
book exchange possible for your onward journey. Beach mats are
also available for hire.
An Internet
Service is also available for you to communicate with loved ones
while you are on holiday with us. International Call / Fax
service and onward air ticket re-confirmations can be arranged
with our reception staff.
Our
hospitality does not just begin and end at our Resort. If you
require land transfers upon arrival or departure or while you
are on transit in Kuala Besut, you will be warmly attended to by
our land based
staff.
Each bungalow has a wooden veranda with two comfortable
seats where you can relax and enjoy the amazing scenery of our
island
