Depart for Danum
Valley by land. Drive for approximately 2 hours 30
minutes to reach Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Along the way,
wildlife may be spotted. |

Arrive Borneo
Rainforest Lodge. Upon arrival, a short briefing of the lodge. |

1230 hrs |
Lunch at jungle
lodge. |

1400 hrs |
Afternoon, guided
nature trail by the lodge experience naturalists. Experience
an exciting suspension canopy walkway to see wildlife. |

1900 hrs |
Dinner at jungle
lodge. |
|
2030 hrs |
Nature slide presentation on
wildlife, ecology & activities in Danum Valley. |
|
2100 hrs
|
Night drive in an
open jeep with a spotlight in search of wildlife. |

2200 hrs |
Return to jungle
lodge and overnight. |

Day 02 Borneo
Rainforest Lodge & Wildlife Treks |

Birds watching at Bill’s Corner. |

0700 hrs |
Return to jungle
lodge for breakfast. |

Proceed for nature trails with the lodge experience
naturalists through the
undisturbed riverine and lowland dipterocarp forest. Visit to
the ancient Dusun Burial site and trek up to View Point.

Return to the jungle
lodge for lunch. |

Lunch. |

1400 hrs |
Extended hike to look for orang utans, birds & other wildlife
along nature trails. |

Return to the jungle
lodge. |

Dinner. |

Optional night guided walk to salt-lick observation points to
see wildlife. Or, another night drive in an open jeep to
search for more wildlife. |

Day 03 Danum
Valley / Lahad Datu |

Early morning jungle walk and bird
watching before breakfast. |

Return to jungle
lodge for breakfast. |

Guided
morning walk at the Segama Trail / Hornbill Trail |

Return to jungle
lodge for lunch. |

Depart jungle lodge
for Lahad Datu. |
|
1600 hrs
|
Arrive Lahad Datu (BNT Office). Transfer to hotel or airport
for flight departure to Kota Kinabalu or by road overland to
Sandakan. |
