Mengkabong Water Village
It will takes
about 30 minutes drive to Mengkabong Water Village.
A settlement of the Bajaus, the descendent of
pirates who set foot on this land in early 19th
Century. In present, this tribe are fisherman who
resides in a village built on water.
The
spectacular sights are the houses, which stand in
stilts and connected by narrow wooden planks. The
tour include the open market at Tuaran, suspension
bridge, Chinese Temple and a pottery factory.
